ER14 provides a framework for impacted stakeholders and members of the public to submit comments and complaints to the RRC for consideration and due handling. ER14 became effective on May 17, 2024.
ER6 and ER7 were amended, through a working group process, to address inefficiencies regarding the timeline for distributing meeting materials. The revisions became effective on December 27, 2024, which repealed ER6 and changed ER7 into the Public Notice and Meetings Rule.
On September 30, 2024, the RRC Board of Directors issued a Directive to initiate a review of the Documents Retention and Access Rule (ER3) and the Confidential Documents and Access Rule (ER4). In response to this directive, the Chief Administrative Officer will establish a Work Group to review these rules and other relevant organizational documents and develop recommended revisions for Board action and subsequent filing with the Regulatory Commission of Alaska.
