    Alaska’s Governor signed into law Senate Bill 123 (SB123) to ensure the creation of an Electric Reliability Organization (ERO) for the Railbelt region. SB123 directs the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) to adopt regulations governing the ERO, prescribes the duties of the ERO (creation of rules, reliability standards, and Integrated Resource Planning), provides for a funding mechanism for the ERO, and outlines the duties of load-serving entities.
